This set of three wood votive candle holders show a different pattern on each side - produced through a process of fractal wood burning. Also called Lichtenberg figures (the art of burning lightning-like or tree-like patterns into wood using high voltage electricity) it naturally produces images reminiscent of lightening, branches or roots . It can be a dangerous process, that also requires the craftsperson to allow the flow of energy to create it's own figures. No two pieces are alike. Handmade in Kalkaska, Michigan. Each set contains one each of a 5.5", 7" and 8.25" tall holders. All are about 2.25" square at the ends. Use only metal container votive candles - 3 are included.
