Made my SolMate Socks of Portland, OR and manufactured in North Carolina
The company quickly grew out of a small room in her house to three different offices in the US and the UK. Solmate Socks' product line also expanded to include hats, mittens, and scarves in addition to mismatched, colorful socks.
When Marianne retired in January 2015, Marianne’s son, Randy, and her daughter-in-law, Lisa, dedicated themselves to carrying on the family tradition of creating highly coveted, treasured works of art that can be worn on your own two feet.
Passionate about color, pattern, and quality, they draw inspiration from the exquisite natural beauty that surrounds them in the Pacific Northwest.
Today, Solmate Socks are made in the same family-owned mill where the business began. Lisa and Randy connect with eco-friendly partners, promote sustainable practices, and support positive impacts in their many communities near and far. They are bold and a little crazy, making happy mismatches and bringing “solmates” into the world.
