| 16 Hands has been give the opportunity to partner with Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Program. Beginning October 1st, 16 Hands will be selling a line of notecards created by and based on the work of Jillian Beld. Jillian is a local teen who's family was very deeply affected by Bipolar disorder. The hope of these cards is to increase awareness of the importance of mental health research in our community. All profits from sales will go directly to the Prechter Bipolar Research Fund.
The set is $ 18, of which $ 10 will be donated to Bipolar research.
The Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Program continuously works hard to inform the public of the strides being made in bipolar research. They invite everyone to attend their 12th Annual Prechter Lecture that will take place on October 9. This lecture will feature author Kay Reinfield Jamison and include a panel discussion about the present and future of research in bipolar disorder.
